Groundbreaking Ceremony of Production Base of Haitian Die Casting
The groundbreaking ceremony of the production base of Haitian Die-Casting was held in Ningbo Free Tax Zone) on the morning of January 17th, 2019. Mr. Yan Rongjie, Director of Administrative Committee of Ningbo Free Tax Zone and Secretary of the Party Working Committee, Mr. Zhang Jingzhang, Chairman of Haitian Group, Mr. Zhang Jianming, President of Haitian Group, and Mr. Le Xiaodong, General Manager of Haitian Die-Casting attended the ceremony and laid the foundation stone for the project.
Mr. Zhang Jingzhang, Mr. Le Xiaodong and Mr. Yan Rongjie delivered speeches respectively, highly affirming the important strategic significance of production base to Haitian Die-Casting’s future development, and expressing Ningbo Free Tax Zone’s confidence and determination to deepen structural reform on the supply side and accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading. After this, Mr. Zhang Jianming announced the official start of the project. In the chorus of fireworks and applauses, the guests laid the foundation stone for the production base of Haitian Die-Casting, and the groundbreaking ceremony completed successfully.

The project has a total investment of USD 160 million and a land area of about 139 mu (1 mu = 667 square meters). It is planned to complete the construction in 2020. It is expected to achieve an annual output of 3,800 die casting machines and an annual sales revenue of RMB 1.7 billion. The project is committed to building a die casting machine production base with the most professional technology, the most powerful function and the best service in the industry. The die casting machine with the largest tonnage in the world will be designed and manufactured and widely used in the production fields of electric vehicles’ battery, vehicles’ side doors, bonnets, underpans, trunk lids, etc.
